Dr. Burgess offers specialized expertise in both open and endovascular Surgery (minimally invasive vascular surgery) to treat all arterial and venous diseases, including varicose veins and venous reflux. He is a Registered Vascular Technologist, specializing in the noninvasive diagnostic evaluation of patients using ultrasound technology.
Dr. Burgess serves as the Medical Director of the ICAVL accredited vascular lab at Surgical Specialists of Charlotte. Additionally, he specializes in vein care and the minimally invasive treatment of venous disease at our Vein Care Center. He provides surgical services at both Atrium Health and Novant Health systems
