Dr. Wallace currently serves on the Board of Directors at Surgical Specialists of Charlotte. In addition, he has held leadership positions in the Department of Surgery at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. Dr. Wallace provides a full range of surgical care in both Novant Health and Atrium Health facilities, as well as local outpatient surgical centers. He has special interest in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures to minimize pain and speed recovery for his patients. He is trained in robotic surgery on the Da Vinci Surgical System, and teaches robotic surgery to other surgeons by hosting a Case Observation Site at Novant Health Matthews Medical Center. Dr. Wallace also travels around the country as a Da Vinci Proctor to assist in the training of surgeons.
